Dr. Hemant Sharma is currently working as Chairman, Orthopaedics and Joint Replacement at Marengo Asia Hospital, Gurgaon. Prior to this, he was heading the unit at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon. He is a specialist in revision lower limb arthroplasty and complex hip, knee and sports injury, and in Mako robotic knee and hip replacement surgery.

His key area of practice includes revision trauma and revision arthroplasty surgery, with a special interest in young adult hips, DDH, sickle cell disease, and joint preservation surgery.
